RT Halloween Party

Rotten Tomatoes held their annual Halloween Party at Suede in San Francisco.

Rotten Tomatoes held their annual Halloween party at Suede in San Francisco. Rae and I, with the help of super-seamstress Rae's mom, transformed ourselves into the characters from Hero. With my long hair and 2-week mustache and goatee, I played the role of Tony Leung, a.k.a Broken Sword. Rae became Maggie Cheung, a.k.a. Flying Snow. Our group also included Jet Li (Stephen Wang) and Zhang Ziyi (Elaine Yu).

It was fun checking out everyone's creative costumes. There was this one guy dressed up as Max Rebo from Return of the Jedi; until we got up close to him, we thought he was dressed up in a burkha! Raffi, Eric, James, and Kevin dressed up as characters from Dodgeball. I haven't seen the movie yet, so I thought James was trying to be Cobra Commander! Where's Destro and the Baroness?

While we were standing out in line, we spied Wolverine with blue and green hair. It turned out it was Emilio! There were at least a dozen scantily clad butterfly/angel women. We've been watching this cartoon Venture Brothers on the Cartoon Network; I thought that they were all the Monarch's henchwomen! Who's going Doctor Girlfriend?

Near the end of the night, we found the VIP room, where we hung out for the rest of the night. Susan in Audition mode and Bryan from Aqua Teen Hunger Force were hiding out there with all the candy and water bottles. After a night of dancing, I fell asleep on Rae's shoulder!

Tomorrow is Halloween! Take back the White House with our Treats for Kerry Halloween wrappers!

The shot of the chipmunk cracks me up :) It looks like an astronaut helmet to me, albeit a strange one, being able to see the person inside through that ginormous eyeball and all... or maybe it's just me ;)

Nice job on the costumes and facial hair! :)

Your Tony Leung resemblence was uncanny!

Treats for Kerry? Adam, I'd thought you'd a better judge of character.

Kerry Platform:

Pro-Abortion (including Partial Birth..do some research on that one)

Pro-Gay Marriage

----------Morality is what the election is about.

Yes... Because it's a such high measure of character when you hop onto someone's personal website and leave an ANONYMOUS comment attacking someone's ability to judge character AND quite possibly their morality. Please try to exercise some better manners next time.

Once again, you took the best photos of the party. I'm just sorry that we didn't get a chance to do a foursome shot of Hero.

It was an honor to finally get to see Max Rebo- I love his music!

As for politicking: morality is an issue (your definition of morality != gay marriage is questionable, given it's a civil, not religious issue), but perhaps not seeing the world through ideological beer goggles is another. I'd like to think that my cousin who was sent into Iraq didn't get shot at for nothing >=|. Why is it the people who are the most ardently blind supporters for something are often the ones who have the least to lose?

Like I said...Morality is what the election is ALL about. The country is a God-believing people. The majority want Bush as their President, not someone who plays the 'religion card.' The majority of Americans saw that Bush was geniuine. The fact is homosexuality IS immoral. Read the Word of God lately? An 'ABOMINATION' is code for pretty bad stuff. And If you and the others want a President that supports taking a full grown baby by the head, inserting sizzors and then sucking out it's brains...then you go ahead and vote Blue. But the majority of the country has spoken. WE WANT MORALITY IN OUR COUNTRY!!!
